Darcy Solutions provides the most advanced groundwater enabled geothermal systems in the world, making geothermal possible in locations it was never considered before. By expanding the available thermal capacity and minimizing required land mass, customers now have sustainable options to consider for buildings of all kinds. We provide free geologic assessments on any project, including site specific recommendations for optimal technologies and system designs based on findings.
Darcy works with schools, hospitals, corporate offices, universities, places of worship, industrial manufacturers, multifamily residential developers, and municipally owned community facilities to design and build geothermal systems. We provide customers of all kinds with free resources to evaluate and build dependable, energy efficient systems at scale. Over 1,200 geologic evaluations and 65 projects built or under contract for construction.
Many organizations associated with the design and construction of geothermal systems and ground source heat pump projects benefit from clear distinctions on who owns what scope of work. Darcy has created multiple tools to clearly outline who furnishes, installs, and commissions all elements of these systems. Lunch and learns or project specific discussions including sample diagrams, proposals, IOM manuals, and submittals are available to assist in consideration of system layouts. Generally these geothermal systems have two system elements: an external well field and interior applied equipment. Darcy provides design assistance and oversight of all wells and laterals into the building. A mechanical contractor commonly oversees installation of the building side equipment. Darcy furnishes certain building side equipment to improve operational efficiency and diagnostics of the system operations.
We also partner with the mechanical contractor and temperature controls companies associated with the project to start up and commission the well field individually and ensure quality and system efficacy.

All geothermal systems are good geothermal systems. Any geothermal project built using prevailing wages, apprentices, and domestic content can qualify for an investment tax credit of up to 40% of the value of ALL equipment associated with the system, including the building side equipment.
Unparalleled energy efficiency, incentives, and system life make these projects the highest return on invested capital in the entire HVAC industry.
